Jarrod Lacks 

Jarrod, also known as J Rod, moved from Virginia to New York City in 2006 to pursue a career in fashion editorial. While working extensively under Creative Director Paul Cavaco at Allure Magazine, J Rod assisted on celebrity covers and fashion and beauty editorials shot by legendary photographers such as Mario Testino, Michael Thompson, Patrick Demarchelier and Norman Jean Roy. 

In 2012, J Rod became Fashion Editor at Allure working with top photographers, models and hair and makeup artists. At the end of 2014, he left Allure to embark on a freelance career. J Rod has shot with photographers such as Alexi Lubomirski, Regan Cameron, Mark Seliger, Mariano Vivanco, Nicolas Moore, Walter Chin and Victor Demarchelier.  

J Rod  has styled shoots for Vanity Fair, Glamour, Allure, Vogue Japan, Allure Russia, Numero Tokyo, Oprah Magazine, Glass, Wonderland and Modern Luxury. Advertising clients include Master and Muse by Amber Valletta, Stuart Weitzman, Adrienne Landau, Sephora, Scandale Paris Lingerie and Bumble and Bumble. 

In the summer of 2016, J Rod joined the Michael Kors team working in house on all Michael Kors Collection creative projects and imagery.
